In a chat on The Spill podcast, they were queried about what surprised them most about each other during the production. Kirby burst into laughter and seemed delighted, while Pascal admitted with a knowing smile, “Indeed, I can be grouchy! Yes, I am a grump, but it doesn’t make me a bad person.

Kirby shared that during extended workdays on set, there’s a noticeable change in Pascal’s usual upbeat demeanor. She put it this way, “He’s always grinning! But around 6 p.m., if we extend the hours, he becomes somewhat irritable and grumpy. However, after roughly an hour, he’s back to his normal self.

Pedro elaborated further, explaining, “We found ourselves doing numerous promotional activities, filming all day long.” He reminisced about how Kirby and her co-star Joseph Quinn would frequently complain about being exhausted. As Kirby concurred, Pascal admitted that the scenario would often stir him up. He confessed, “With her being pregnant, the whole situation… It revs me up. It gets me riled up, and my guardian feelings come into play.

During filming, Pascal mentioned that while he aimed for a swift conclusion, Vanessa and Joseph (Kirby and Quinn) frequently proposed various alternatives, such as “Why not give it a shot this way? Or why not try it from that angle instead?
