Gavin Mathieu’s journey into astro-futurist aesthetics, spanning various years, has been primarily conducted through his label, Supervsn, based in Los Angeles. This summer, Supervsn is breaking new ground by partnering with HOKA for their initial footwear collaboration. The partnership resulted in three vibrant color schemes of the Clifton One9 sneaker, blending the unique styles of both parties into a harmonious bridge.
Everyday runners can opt for the vibrant color schemes of “Mantis Green,” “Ice Grey,” and “Neon Gold.” Each option showcases its unique hue with silver geometric patterns and matching heel branding, paying tribute to both partners. Upon closer inspection, the “Mantis Green” pair features a green gradient at the base of the upper, while the “Neon Gold” version sports a yellow-to-orange gradient finish. The “Neon Gold” edition is particularly rare, with only 99 pairs being produced, making it the most exclusive HOKA style ever launched.
On July 31, the collaboration between Supervsn and HOKA for the Clifton One9 series will be made available, with each pair retailing for an initial price of $165 USD. This release can be found on both Supervsn’s and HOKA’s platforms.
