Space Marine 2 developer Saber Interactive tease another new game, and it looks very scary

Saber Interactive, developers of the hugely popular Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, have hinted at a new video game after the success of their 40K title’s release.

Giant gaming corporation, Saber, is currently developing projects that include remaking Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a new game based on John Carpenter’s Toxic Avenger, an updated version of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Turok: Origins, and Space Marine 3.

Although the studio currently has numerous projects under development as previously announced, there’s also an intriguing hint at another upcoming title that appears to be a horror genre game.

Saber Interactive announces new game

On various social platforms, it’s been made public that Saber will unveil their possibly horror-themed new game on July 22, 2025. Interestingly, they have also reserved the domain name july-22-2025.com in anticipation of this upcoming reveal, which is set to happen later this month.

As I type this, the screen on my gaming platform remains a dark expanse, occasionally interrupted by the bold text “PM 1:00 UTC Jul. 22, 2025” and the intermittent flicker of the number “55”.

In addition to sharing content on social platforms, Saber has unveiled an old-school camcorder recording from the 1990s that captures a room with a flickering CRT TV. As the screen illuminates, muffled screams and shouts are audible in the clip’s background. However, the production house has yet to disclose any official details regarding the gameplay of their upcoming title.

The details about this upcoming game are still unclear. It hasn’t been confirmed whether it’s a brand-new creation or an adaptation, but based on clues, it appears likely that the new game will be a horror title, even though Saber Interactive hasn’t officially announced anything yet.

In August 12, 2025, Saber’s upcoming title will be the thrilling World War Z VR, which is a conversion for PC and Meta Quest of its well-liked cooperative game in the vein of Left 4 Dead. The VR game promises an exciting experience!
