Remarkably, he mentioned that Rajinikanth approved the concept simply by listening to the initial part of the storyline.

During the job interview, Lokesh Kanagaraj shared that he was taken aback when the person agreed, as he had only presented the initial part and paused at the midway point to gauge interest. Remarkably, he responded yes right away. Intriguingly, Lokesh hadn’t even penned down the second half of the script yet. A few months later, when he returned with the finished product, the person expressed delight with it.
Remarkably, during the same interview, Lokesh shared that he had a tough time persuading Nagarjuna Akkineni to take on the role of the villain. Lokesh, the director of the movie Leo, disclosed that Nagarjuna requested him to narrate the film multiple times before ultimately agreeing to it.
Lokesh reminisced about the moment when, having presented a script to Nagarjuna, the actor consented to portray a villain and said to him, “Alright, Lokesh. When else would I have the chance if not now?
Furthermore, the director expressed that his decision to feature actors such as Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Sathyaraj alongside Rajinikanth in the film was inspired by a long-held ambition, having grown up admiring their films.
