Although KPop Demon Hunters on Netflix has been successful, neither Netflix nor Sony Pictures Animation has provided any news about a possible second installment of the film. However, Maggie Kang, one of the creators, has expressed enthusiasm for a KPop Demon Hunters sequel, hinting in a recent interview that they have been developing the characters to provide ample groundwork for potential backstories.
As a gamer eagerly awaiting the next installment of KPop Demon Hunters, I can’t help but notice that Kang has dropped another hint. He mentioned, “It’s clear there are many questions left unanswered and parts of the story unexplored, and we had to do this since there’s a limit to what a 85-minute movie can cover.
The popularity of KPop Demon Hunters’ series is significantly influenced by its captivating soundtrack, which recently climbed to the second spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Notably, the song “Golden” from the album has become an exceptional hit, topping both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. US charts, making it the standout single from the album.

Although it seems likely that KPop Demon Hunters will have a second part coming up more quickly than not, Netflix hasn’t provided an official announcement about the sequel yet.
