Actress Cristin Milioti has recently spoken up, hinting at the possibility of reprising her role as Sofia in either “The Batman 2” or Season 2 of the series led by Colin Farrell. In a recent interview, she expressed her thoughts about potentially reappearing as Sofia in future DC projects set within Matt Reeves’ Batman universe.

In her latest interview for a podcast, the actress from How I Met Your Mother indicated her desire to reprise the role of Sofia Gigante again.
Discussing the prospect of playing Sofia once more in The Batman 2, Cristin Milioti expressed on Entertainment Weekly’s The Awardist podcast that she feels there is unfinished business with the character. “Goodness gracious, I would absolutely adore returning to her,” she said. “Given where we left her off, I feel like it’s not fully resolved, but who knows? We’ll have to wait and see.
As her interview neared its end, the 39-year-old actress expressed her strong wish to return to playing The Penguin character again. She said, “I truly long for us to explore this role further. It won’t be a farewell party, but we just don’t know yet.
If Batman 2 isn’t in the works, there’s a chance Sofia Gigante could reappear in a potential second season of The Penguin series. HBO CEO Casey Bloys hinted at the show’s future in a recent interview, saying, “Could there be more episodes down the line? Absolutely possible. For now, Matt Reeves is focused on the film. However, I know that showrunner Lauren LeFranc is brainstorming potential plotlines that could align with the movie.
Towards the close of “The Penguin,” Sofia Gigante is back within the walls of Arkham Asylum due to the tricks of Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot, orchestrated by Farrell. This sets up a possibility for Cristin Milioti’s character to reappear in future DC projects set in alternate realities.
