Zack Snyder, director of “Rebel Moon”, has recently given an update about the future of Netflix’s action sci-fi series following the first two releases receiving unfavorable critiques from critics. This announcement was made shortly after Netflix launched a new game called Blood Line, which is set in the same universe as Snyder’s “Rebel Moon”.
In a chat with Variety, Snyder shared that he’s temporarily halting work on his third Rebel film to concentrate on his forthcoming LAPD project for Netflix. He mentioned it was refreshing to step away from the Rebel Moon series, particularly after directing consecutive films within the franchise.
Instead of continuing with Rebel Moon, I found myself delving into another project – not exactly distracted, more like dealing with high-level issues, as one might say – which is a movie for Netflix based on the LAPD SWAT. As Snyder put it, ‘So I was like, OK, well, I’m gonna just sort of let that Rebel Moon world simmer for a bit, and I’m going to do this.’ It was quite an exhausting, lengthy process working on both movies concurrently. So it was refreshing to take a breather from it. I’m deeply passionate about it, but the break has been good. We’ll see where things stand when I return from this project.

Additionally, Snyder was questioned regarding his thoughts on James Gunn’s Superman film. The Director of Man of Steel confessed that he hasn’t had the opportunity to watch it so far, however, he intends to do so as soon as possible.
On the upcoming weekend, I won’t be able to watch as I’ve got a horse show scheduled. My children participate in riding horses, so we’ll be there. However, I plan to catch up with it immediately following the horse show. (Snyder stated this.)
In the role of director and screenwriter, James Gunn crafted the film “Superman,” which is based on the iconic DC characters conjured up by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The star-studded cast includes David Corenswet portraying both Superman and Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult stepping into the shoes of Lex Luthor. Since its premiere, this DC Universe movie has been garnering favorable comments from both critics and viewers. With a Certified Fresh rating of 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s clear that the film is being well-received.
