The critically acclaimed RPG, “John Wick Hex,” developed by the esteemed Mike Bithell, will be unexpectedly removed from sale on both PS5 and PS4, and has been previously discounted significantly. This decision comes with short notice before it gets delisted from all digital storefronts.
John Wick video game is being delisted on July 17
Big Fan Games’ current publisher recently announced on Steam that they will be permanently removing John Wick Hex from the platform.
Current owners can continue playing John Wick Hex from their digital libraries on PC or Console, as well as with their physical copies on Console. However, it’s important to note that further purchases of John Wick Hex will no longer be available, regardless of where you buy it.
The reason behind its removal hasn’t been specified, but we suspect it might be due to an expired license. However, it seems unusual for the publisher to provide little warning and sell the game at full price right before it’s taken off the market forever.
On PlayStation Store, the price of this game typically sits at $3.99, but it’s currently been bumped up to $19.99. Interestingly, it costs the same amount on Xbox, but you can grab it for $8.19 on Steam and just $3.99 on Humble Bundle.
Worth noting that online store prices are typically set by publishers.
