In an interview with Disney Rewards Insider magazine, published in their summer 2025 issue, Alexandra Byrne mentioned that the script for “First Steps” and Matt Shakman’s distinctive vision of the 1960s setting inspired her to create a unique costume design for the Fantastic Four that had never been seen before.
Byrne described how we immersed ourselves for hours in the dye baths, figuring out different hues and shades within a spectrum of blues. It’s a laborious task, yet thrilling, she said.
