In the near future, ComingSoon will unveil a unique trailer for the upcoming crime thriller film, starring Tyrese Gibson from the Fast & Furious series and Max Martini known for Pacific Rim and The Unit. This movie is set to hit select cinemas on August 22nd.
In the synopsis, it’s stated that when a former detective’s estranged daughter, who dreams of becoming a singer in the glitzy but dangerous environment of a Hollywood jazz club, mysteriously disappears, he is compelled to face his old personal struggles and maneuver through a complex web of deceit and corruption to locate her. In doing so, he uncovers a plot that challenges him deeply.

What is Hollywood Grit about?
Hollywood Grit is a film directed by Ryan Curtis, who also collaborated on the script with Kristina Denton. This gritty neo-noir story revolves around themes of redemption, fatherhood, and the steep price of aspiration in a city that consumes innocence as its morning meal. The production is overseen by executives Adler, Melanie McClain, Michael Guerin, Greg Scott, Dana Guerin, Alex Cutler, Jed Klemlow, and Arron Nelson, while Curtis, Martini, Justin Folger, Bryan Eliacin, and David B. Meadows take on the roles of producers.
In addition to Gibson and Martini, the film boasts a star-studded cast that includes Linda Purl, Patrick Duffy, Nikki Howard, Linc Hand, David B. Meadows, Caylee Cowan, Benito Martinez, and Ysabela Espinosa. Notably, many members of both the cast and crew are military veterans from various branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. A significant portion of the movie’s earnings will be given directly to Veterans in Media & Entertainment (VME) to aid them in their ongoing efforts to offer essential resources and assistance for veterans seeking careers within the entertainment industry.
