soon, ComingSoon will unveil a special poster for the upcoming movie adaption of Bob Rich’s 2015 novel titled “Looking Through Water“. This announcement follows Good Deed Entertainment securing distribution rights for the North American release of this heartfelt father-son drama film, which may be Michael Douglas’ final role on screen.
The movie’s plot revolves around a father trying to mend their relationship with their long-lost son, who he invites to join a father-son fishing contest as a means of reconnecting.
Who is in the Looking Through Water poster?
This unique poster showcases key members of its star-studded lineup, featuring Michael Douglas (from Wall Street), Walker Scobell (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), David Morse (The Green Mile), Michael Stahl-David (Narcos), Cameron Douglas (Wire Room), and Ximena Romo (This Is Not Berlin). The upcoming film could mark a significant farewell for Douglas, as he has recently stated his plans for a break from acting. Although he clarified that retirement isn’t on the table, he has expressed no immediate desire to resume his acting career at this time.
This film titled “Looking Through Water” was directed by Roberto Sneider, with the screenplay penned by Zach Dean and Rowdy Herrington. The ensemble cast includes Tamara Tunie, Sierra Swartz, Blanca Guerra, Barry Livingston, Geraldine Zinat, Peter Theis, Noah Beaumont, and Marcus Alamina. Rich, Elisabeth Costa de Beauregard, Robert A. Halmi, and Philip Kim serve as executive producers.
