As a gamer discussing my favorite game character’s dynamic, I can relate to Anderson’s feelings towards her character’s son, Julian. Managing his erratic behavior, both emotionally and practically, really takes a toll on their relationship. It’s like juggling multiple challenges in a hard-core RPG game – it adds an extra layer of stress that you weren’t expecting! (via GamerSpeak)

At the D23 Expo, where the initial clips from Tron: Ares were unveiled, Peters discussed the familial background of his character. He stated, “Dillinger isn’t always synonymous with good deeds for those on the grid,” hinting at the fact that Ed Dillinger, portrayed by David Warner in the original film, is the main adversary.

In a thrilling turn of events, an advanced digital entity named Ares embarks on a perilous journey from the digital realm to our physical world, representing the initial human interaction with artificial intelligence entities.

Joachim Rønning, recognized for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, is the one behind the camera for this production. Jesse Wigutow penned the screenplay, drawing inspiration from a story he co-developed with David Digilio, and building upon characters originally conceived by Steven Lisberger and Bonnie MacBird.

In addition to the main characters, you’ll find Jared Leto portraying Ares, Greta Lee taking on the role of Eve Kim, Jodie Turner-Smith acting as Athena, and Jeff Bridges stepping into the shoes of Kevin Flynn.

Tron: Ares debuts in US theaters on October 10, 2025.
