How to get to the Inventor’s island – Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, The Inventor isn’t a character you’ll encounter during the primary storyline. Instead, he can be found with courage and an inquisitive spirit. To reach him securely, follow this guide.

How to get to the Inventor’s island in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

As a fellow adventurer exploring this captivating world, I’ve discovered an enchanting isle nestled north of Mine North of F1 – a mine that becomes your new playground post the West Fort Knot (F1) encounter. Hidden behind the main mine structure, offshore, lies this tiny paradise. Once you’ve rebuilt the zipline, it’ll span across the island, but you may find yourself pondering the return journey even with the zipline as your ticket to reach it.

To tackle this task effectively, take your time traversing the sticky tar while continuously checking your scanner. The scanner helps determine the water depth; blue indicates extremely shallow waters, yellow signifies it’s still safe, and red warns of potentially hazardous tar. For a quicker and safer journey, opt for using a vehicle if possible.

As a gamer, all I’ve gotta do is consistently use my scanner to update the surrounding environment on the screen, then follow the glowing yellow trail leading to and from the island. It might not be the most time-efficient method, but leveling up the Inventor is worth it. He rewards me with the Otter Hood at Level 1, preventing me from drowning, followed by the Stun Bomb at Level 2, then the Remote Stun Bomb at Level 3. At Level 4, I’ll get my hands on the Bola Stun Gun, and at Level 5, I’ll receive some patches and holograms as bonuses.
