Why Gwen could be EJ’s secret partner on Days of Our Lives
In the world of Days of Our Lives, EJ continues to be a character shrouded in controversy. Following his brush with death, though, it appears he’s made efforts to reform. Yet, with his current involvement in the Hospital takeover, there must be some method by which he’s navigating this situation – perhaps through a hidden ally or secret partner.
Previously, it seemed as though Gwen hadn’t provided any clues about her return to Salem. However, her arrival now lines up with the ongoing EJ storyline. Yet, it’s not only her unexpected appearance on the screen that explains her return; there are additional reasons behind this plot development.
Gwen has recently acquired a significant amount of wealth. It appears that she obtained the Von Leuschner funds, which were her husband Dimitri’s, who has been absent from the scene for quite some time now. The last we saw of him was when he was taken to prison. The authorities apprehended him following his involvement in a scheme to blackmail Gabi and Stefan for money.
Given that Gwen possesses ample resources and EJ is pursuing a major opportunity concurrently, it’s plausible to speculate if they might be collaborating. They share similarities – pragmatism being one of them – which could lead them towards a shared objective. Such an alliance wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for either party.
Hence, Gwen could be EJ’s secret partner in this deal, which could benefit both of them.
