Twisted Metal Season 2 Trailer: Anthony Mackie Enters a Deadly Demolition Derby

At long last, Peacock has unveiled the official trailer for Twisted Metal Season 2, a highly anticipated continuation of its TV adaptation based on the classic PlayStation video game franchise. The second season is set to premiere on July 31 with the first three episodes. Subsequent episodes will be released every Thursday, running through August 28.

In the summary for Season 2, it is stated that after the events in the final episode of Season 1, John and Quiet join the lethal Twisted Metal tournament, a destructive car race controlled by the enigmatic Calypso. As they struggle to stay alive against both new and familiar adversaries such as the homicidal clown Sweet Tooth, John’s life becomes more complex when he meets his long-absent sister, the vigilante Dollface.

Intriguingly, Anthony Mackie’s character, John, decides to join this competition, where he’ll encounter both fresh and familiar adversaries, such as Michael James Shaw’s Axel. The trailer also hints at some pulse-pounding action scenes from Season 2.
