I hope you’re ready for round 2, because Elden Ring Nightreign is bringing back 3 weeks of mega-bosses – except this time they come in pairs for more varied pain: “F*** my life”

The positive aspect is that you might recognize Elden Ring Nightreign‘s upcoming group of amplified Everdark Sovereign bosses, as they are the same creatures FromSoftware initially introduced during their limited-time challenges. However, the downside is that this time around, these creatures are coming back in rotating pairs each week to increase the level of difficulty, and potentially induce fear or anxiety.

In a recent tweet posted on July 8th, developer FromSoftware reveals that some classic terrors, such as The Everdark Sovereigns, The Sentient Pest, and The Darkdrift Knight Nightlords, will reappear in twos over the next three weeks.

This is what the schedule looks like at the moment:

  • July 10 to July 17 – Gaping Jaw and Darkdrift Knight
  • July 17 to July 24 – Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight
  • July 24 to July 31 – Gaping Jaw and Sentient Pest

In a more casual and straightforward manner, FromSoftware posted on Twitter: “Let the horrifying Gaping Maw remain silent for a moment.

“Gaping Jaw twice?” concurs FromSoftware enthusiast SweetPeachGames. “Fuck my life.”

“Time to delete Nightreign and move on to better things,” says another reply.

As a die-hard fan, I’d say if you feel compelled to flee Limveld due to fear, it might be wisest to depart immediately. In another tweet, FromSoftware gravely warns us that “the Night deepens yet. The Everdark Sovereigns: Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog will soon wreak havoc on Limveld.” These monstrosities haven’t been given specific arrival dates as of now, but for some of us FromSoftware enthusiasts, the suspense that accompanies such uncertainty is part of the thrill of the game.
