Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has officially set the 4K release date for the 2013 supernatural drama “The Conjuring”, produced by New Line Cinema. This announcement precedes the theatrical debut of The Conjuring: Last Rites on September 5, marking the end of the horror franchise’s series featuring Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Prior to the events of Amityville, there was Harrisville. The Conjuring film recounts a chilling true tale about Ed and Lorraine Warren, well-known paranormal researchers, who were summoned to aid a family tormented by an ominous presence in a remote farmhouse. Facing a formidable demonic entity, the Warrens become embroiled in their most harrowing case yet.
When is The Conjuring 4K release date?
You can now rent or buy The Conjuring in stunning 4K Ultra HD quality on various digital platforms. This marks the first time the movie will be available for purchase on a 4K UHD Blu-ray release, which starts on August 26. It’s been more than a decade since the original film premiered in theaters. Currently, it boasts a Certified Fresh rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the highest-rated installment of the franchise to date.

James Wan helmed the filmmaking of The Conjuring, with screenplays penned by Chad Haymes and Carey W. Hayes. The star-studded cast includes Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Hayley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver, Sterling Jerins, Marion Guyot, Steve Coulter, Shannon Kook, and John Brotherton. The production team consisted of Tony DeRosa-Grund, Peter Safran, and Rob Cowan, with Walter Hamada and Dave Neustadter serving as executive producers.
