Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 Gets First Poster & Release Date Window

The anticipated release window for “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4,” known as “The Calamity,” was revealed at Anime Expo. This part, which is the fourth in the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War storyline, was initially announced in December 2024. The series is based on the widely popular manga Bleach by Tite Kubo. The first part premiered in 2022, followed by Part 2 and Part 3 in the subsequent years, with many fans eagerly awaiting the debut of Part 4 in 2025.

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 to arrive next year

Enthusiasts are anxiously anticipating a major revelation concerning Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 at the Anime Expo. Not too long ago, a fresh poster along with a projected timeframe for Part 4’s release were revealed.

It has been confirmed that the anime will be released in 2026. In a recent poster, fans caught a sneak peek at Ichigo Kurosaki, who is the main character of the anime. According to the official X account of the anime, Part 4 will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks.

Studio Pierrot, in collaboration with creator Tite Kubo, is currently developing Part 4. Fans had been eagerly waiting for a sneak peek of the forthcoming Part 4, but were somewhat let down when no such preview was revealed alongside the announcement.

In May 2025, Kubo expressed concerns about the potential challenges in animating certain episodes of Part 4 on a members-only platform (via X). He stated, “I’ve been going through numerous storyboards for Bleach’s Cour 4 recently, and I can see that some episodes will be particularly tough to animate, even at the storyboard stage.
