On Twitter, Puri Jagannadh shared sneak peeks from the set as he officially started working on his film featuring Vijay Sethupathi. In one image, Vijay can be seen smiling alongside other cast members, the director, and producers.
The filmmaker emphasized that initial filming for the project would happen in Hyderabad, with a focus on capturing crucial dialogues between Vijay and Samyuktha as the first priority.
The exciting journey of #PuriSethupathi starts today on the sets in Hyderabad, with major scenes being filmed. The principal photography, starring Makkalselvan @VijaySethuOffl and strong-willed @iamsamyuktha_, is underway in this busy schedule. These scenes will be shot continuously for a while.
When Vijay revealed why he chose to work with Puri Jagannadh

When it comes to selecting a project, the actor makes his decision based solely on whether he enjoys the script and the story, rather than considering the outcome of his previous film.
Vijay shared that he doesn’t base his decisions on the outcome of prior films. Instead, if a story appeals to him, he chooses to be part of it. Puri presented a story that resonated with him, and since he hasn’t worked on a similar project before, he wanted to take on something fresh to avoid repetition.
