In the upcoming horror movie titled “Deeper“, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas will be taking on leading roles. Recently, there has been some updates regarding the potential release date of this highly anticipated film.

What is the Deeper release date update?

As per a fresh update from World of Reel, the filming for Deeper is set to commence next month. Doug Liman has been confirmed as the director, and Tom Cruise alongside Ana de Armas will be featured in this upcoming project.

As per the report, it seems that the upcoming movie could be Tom Cruise’s next project. There’s a possibility that this film might hit the screens as early as next year, before his collaboration with director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, which is currently scheduled for an October 2026 release.

The World of Reel report continues by stating that Cruise and de Armas have been preparing for diving sequences in the movie as they’ve already undergone training for the film. This upcoming movie involves an astronaut who comes face-to-face with a frightening entity during a deep dive into an unexplored trench. Initially, Max Landis penned the script, but it is now reported that Christopher McQuarrie, a longtime friend and collaborator of Cruise, is working on a new version of the screenplay for this project.

In a new development, director Liman is teaming up once more with Tom Cruise for another project. Previously, these two collaborated on the sci-fi hit Edge of Tomorrow and American Made. Additionally, it’s rumored that Liman, Cruise, and screenwriter McQuarrie are developing a film about space in collaboration with NASA. However, there haven’t been any significant updates on this project so far.
