The filmmaker behind it all, Lauro Chartrand-DelValle, has taken the lead in directing, scriptwriting, and production of this new release. The cast includes Tim Rozon, Tanaya Beatty, Nathaniel Arcand, and other talented actors.

When is the Tubi release date for Protectors of the Land?

Protectors of the Land will be available to stream on Tubi on July 4, 2025.

The action-packed supernatural thriller is centered around a man named Rozon, who finds himself caught up in a dangerous drug war within his Alaskan town. As the violence escalates, his Indigenous wife, Beatty, finds herself in danger. In an effort to seek justice and protect her, Rozon joins forces with Beatty’s brother, Arcand.

In the production of this movie, Sharlene Royer serves as an executive producer, and Graham Greene, known for his roles in Wind River and Dances with Wolves, is among the cast members. Here’s a movie poster you can take a look at: [Poster link]

Alongside overseeing the Protectors of the Land, Chartrand-DelValle also takes on roles as stunt coordinator and secondary director for FX’s Shogun series. Together with Royer, he received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series for their work on the acclaimed television program. This show is set to return for a second season.

Furthermore, Chartrand-DelValle serves as both the stunt coordinator and secondary unit director for the CBS series Tracker. At present, he, along with Royer, are working on their upcoming movie project, named Crimson Creek Massacre.

Rozon, on the other hand, gained recognition for his roles as Mutt Schitt in Schitt’s Creek, Tommy Quincy in Instant Star, and Doc Holliday in Wynonna Earp. He headlined as O’Shea in Karate Kid: Legends, a movie that hit US theaters in May 2025 and amassed around $103 million globally.

Kristen Beatty graced our screens in 2011 with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, then returned in 2017 for Hostiles. On the other hand, I also can’t forget about Arcand, who delivered an impressive performance in Ryan Coogler’s Sinners.
