A recent photo posted by the director featuring Jani Master, who has been accused of sexual assault, has sparked these criticisms.

In his latest social media update, film director Vignesh Shivan was captured working alongside Jani Master on the set of Love Insurance Kompany. He affectionately captioned the photo as “Sweet master ji” accompanied by a series of heart emojis.

Following the widespread popularity of the post, many online users criticized director and producer Nayanthara for collaborating with the choreographer.
In a recent post, singer Chinmayi expressed her criticism towards Jani who is currently on conditional bail for an offense involving a minor. She noted that society often seems to idolize and support “gifted” individuals who have committed crimes, continuing to elevate them in positions of power. These individuals, she suggests, then misuse their influence to further victimize women.
A different user commented, “There’s an explanation behind the declining regard for Vignesh Shivan. Earlier it was Dileep, now it’s Jani Master. Continuing to label alleged predators as ‘vibe’ reveals your true stance – not aligned with survivors. And Nayanthara seems… indifferent about it.
