Maxell is paying homage to its roots with the release of the Maxell MXCP-P100 cassette tape player.
As a retro enthusiast, I’ve got my hands on a freshly revamped cassette player that harks back to the good old days but doesn’t skimp on contemporary perks. It boasts Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphone usage, yet retains the classic 3.5mm jack for those who prefer the traditional wired listening experience. Plus, it sports a USB-C charging port, ensuring up to nine hours of uninterrupted playback on a single charge.
The MXCP-P100 boasts modern features yet its design echoes ’80s technology. On top of the device, you’ll find large play, pause, fast forward, rewind buttons along with a brass flywheel for volume adjustment. At just 210 grams, it offers convenience for carrying around too.
