David Dastmalchian cast as M. Bison in the Street Fighter movie

The upcoming Street Fighter film by Legendary Entertainment is about to commence production, leading to an influx of casting news. Today, it was revealed that actor David Dastmalchian has been chosen to portray the movie’s antagonist, M. Bison.

Today, Deadline announced that David Dastmalchian has been cast as the villainous character M. Bison in the upcoming Street Fighter movie. In the Street Fighter video game series, M. Bison is known for being the antagonist who was responsible for the death of Chun-Li’s father.

Previously, M. Bison was portrayed on the big screen by the late Raul Julia, who played this character for the last time in the 1994 Street Fighter film, marking his final acting appearance.

David Dastmalchian has been added to an impressive cast that includes Jason Momoa, 50 Cent, and Roman Reigns for the upcoming “Street Fighter” movie. Additionally, it was confirmed that Callina Liang will portray the legendary character Chun-Li in this film. As of now, “Street Fighter” is set to premiere in theaters in 2026.
