In a recent conversation with Extra, director James Gunn discussed the possibility of involving Chris Pratt, a previous Guardians of the Galaxy cast member, in Superman as Jor-El, Superman’s father. Gunn explained that Pratt was extending a kindness by taking on this role, and his scenes predominantly involve appearing as a hologram delivering a speech to Superman.

When inquired about the chance of Cooper reappearing, Gunn jokingly suggested “who knows,” pointing out there might be a possibility he’ll show up once more.
