Ajith Kumar made a comeback on the silver screen in April with the action-comedy film titled Good Bad Ugly. Although he hasn’t revealed any details about his upcoming project just yet, we might hear an official announcement soon.
Ajith Kumar’s AK64 to be announced in August 2025?
Based on information from industry expert Ramesh Bala, it’s been indicated that the long-anticipated film of Ajith Kumar, currently known as AK64, is set to have its official unveiling in the month of August 2025.
According to reports from industry insiders, it’s said that the upcoming film of Ajith is likely to be financed by Romeo Pictures, who have previously backed movies like Viswasam and Vivegam featuring Ajith Kumar.
Although specifics about AK64 remain undisclosed, there’s buzz suggesting that filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran might take charge of the production, which would signify a second creative partnership between him and the star.
It’s worth noting that the actor has previously mentioned his intention to take on film projects exclusively during the off-seasons of racing, which suggests a likely production timeline in the second half of 2025. The movie is expected to hit theaters in early 2026.
Prior to Adhik’s arrival, there was much speculation about potential collaborations between him and directors such as Karthik Subbaraj, Prashanth Neel, Venkat Prabhu, and even Dhanush.
