In an unexpected turn, the cast for the live-action Street Fighter movie keeps expanding, as per recent reports from Deadline, they’ve managed to secure the role of M. Bison.

Based on an article by Deadline, it appears that David Dastmalchian will take on the role of the antagonist, M. Bison, in an upcoming movie. Known for a variety of characters such as Oppenheimer, Chuck, and Satan from Late Night with the Devil, among others, Dastmalchian is set to make his mark in this new production.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve been eagerly waiting to learn who might step into the sinister shoes of M. Bison. Rumors have it that Legendary Entertainment is in discussions with various actors for this mysterious role. This notorious character is infamous as the chief antagonist across the Street Fighter universe, where he heads the ruthless criminal empire known as Shadaloo in the games. In the 1994 film adaptation of the game, Raúl Juliá brought M. Bison to life on the silver screen.

The upcoming Street Fighter film boasts an impressive ensemble of actors, with Andrew Koji stepping into the role of Ryu, Callina Liang portraying Chun-Li, Noah Centineo taking on Ken, Jason Momoa transforming into Blanka, Roman Reigns embodying Akuma, Orville Peck bringing Vega to life, Andrew Schulz playing Dan Hibiki, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson assuming the character of Balrog.
