COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS Revives the Nike Air Max Dolce

Summary

  • COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS‘ biannual Nike footwear collaboration sees the Air Max Dolce make a return
  • Its molded sidewalls are back, however, adjustments to the 2002 model include a new glossy overlay and covered Air units
  • Release is set to take place during Spring/Summer 2026

COMME des GARÇONS is recognized for showcasing a diverse range of footwear collaborations across multiple collections during Paris Fashion Week. Specifically, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS consistently partners with Nike, frequently re-releasing classic models. Their latest collaboration resulted in the Sense 96, which blends the Air Max 96 and ISPA Sense Flyknit, while they are also planning to introduce their unique interpretation of the Air Rejuven8 later this year.

Looking forward to upcoming collaborations between Nike and CdGH+, we now have a sneak peek at the reimagined Air Max Dolce from 2002. The iconic runner has been given a fresh update by CdGH+, swapping out the traditional grid-like tongue material for a sleek, glossy overlay. While maintaining the original’s molded sidewalls, the heel’s Air unit is now concealed, adding a unique touch to its design. As expected from this duo, they’ve kept the color schemes minimal, offering all-black, black and white, and all-white options, with distinct CdGH+ emblems on the tongue and co-branding visible at the sockliner.

As of now, neither COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS nor Nike have given any hint about the release date for their Air Max Dolce collaboration. Keep an eye out for updates, as we anticipate this sneaker to drop during the first half of 2026, available at Dover Street Market and various retailers globally.
