Many enthusiasts of Dead by Daylight are clearly yearning for more Five Nights at Freddy’s content, even after the introduction of Springtrap. The positive news is that additional FNAF content will be released before the end of the year, and Behaviour Interactive has expressed interest in another collaboration with Five Nights at Freddy’s in the future. Behaviour Interactive has revealed the Killer they are planning for a second Dead by Daylight chapter, and the developers have also publicly discussed concepts for another FNAF-themed map in Dead By Daylight, as well as the potential inclusion of a renowned Survivor.
Dead By Daylight devs share possible DBD FNAF Survivor and next map
After the launch of the Dead By Daylight Five Nights At Freddy’s Chapter, Behaviour held a live question and answer session on the FNAF Discord server. Although the Q&A is no longer available, responses from Behaviour Interactive have been shared across various social media platforms.
According to a summary posted by Discord user Sklarlight and shared by JonnyBlox on X, when asked about the potential for another Five Nights at Freddy’s chapter, Behaviour Interactive team members couldn’t provide confirmation but expressed strong interest in the idea. Sklarlight also suggested that it is highly probable that a second chapter will be released.
As a fellow gaming enthusiast, I’m eagerly speculating about potential plans for the next installment. From what I gather, Behaviour Interactive seems to be brewing some exciting ideas. If things go as planned, we might see a new killer known as The Mimic. Now, here’s where it gets intriguing – according to insider reports, the team has expressed a strong interest in incorporating an area from Pizzaplex as the next map for Five Nights at Freddy’s in Dead by Daylight. Fingers crossed that this becomes a reality!
The most notable absence in Five Nights At Freddy’s Chapter is the character who survives, as Mathieu Cote has explained that this was a deliberate design choice because the FNAF games are played from a first-person perspective.
During a recent Discord Q&A session, Behaviour Interactive hinted at the possibility of incorporating Josh Hutcherson’s character, Mike Schmidt, in the game at some point. However, it’s important to note that this idea remains unofficial and no concrete plans or confirmations have been made yet.

Instead of introducing Josh Hutcherson as a Survivor in a second FNAF Chapter, Behaviour Interactive could instead opt for making him a Legendary skin for an existing Survivor character in Dead By Daylight. This way, Josh Hutcherson would still bring his star power to the game, and since Behaviour has already incorporated the live-action William Afton, Matthew Lillard, it seems fitting.
Although discussions about a sequel to Five Nights at Freddy’s by Behaviour Interactive have taken place, it has not yet been confirmed that there will be a second chapter. While the possibility seems quite high given Scott Cawthon’s active role and enthusiasm towards the development of Dead By Daylight’s new chapter, no official announcement has been made at this time.
