Actor Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil in the popular series “Daredevil: Born Again,” has spoken about his potential role in the upcoming film “Avengers: Doomsday.” Cox will once again take on the beloved character in the forthcoming second season of the Disney+ reboot. Additionally, Krysten Ritter is set to return as Jessica Jones, making her official Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in this series.

Recently, a fan asked Charlie Cox about the possibility of Daredevil appearing in Avengers: Doomsday during a signing event. The English actor responded negatively, implying that Daredevil won’t be making his cinematic debut in this movie just yet. At present, both Avengers: Doomsday and the second season of Daredevil: Born Again are being produced for a 2026 release.

In a new development, the upcoming Avengers film titled “Avengers: Doomsday” is being helmed by the same directors as “Avengers: Endgame,” Joe and Anthony Russo. The script for this next installment has been penned by Stephen McFeely. Notably, Oscar winner Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom. Joining him in the star-studded cast are Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Letitia Wright, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, and Danny Ramirez.
In the upcoming sixth part of this series, we’ll see Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen returning as Magneto, Alan Cumming back as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn once again playing Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum in the role of Gambit. However, Marvel boss Feige has hinted that there may be more cast announcements to come, following the buzz generated by their casting announcement video.
