What happens in the Eternal trailer?

As an enthusiast, I recount my fascination with “The Eternal” trailer, which spins the tale of Elias, a budding climate change researcher embarking on an extraordinary oceanic expedition to probe a novel fracture in our planet. Immersed beneath the waves, he encounters tantalizing glimpses of a life unlived – a glimpse of what could have been if he hadn’t set sail on this journey.

As a gamer eagerly awaiting the big screen debut of “Eternal”, I’ve got some exciting news to share! This epic game adaptation will first grace select theaters on June 27, 2025, and then it’ll be available for digital and on-demand viewing starting July 1, 2025. Can’t wait to immerse myself in this virtual world!

The film “Eternal” is helmed by the Danish director Ulaa Salim, with performances from Simon Sears, Nanna Øland Fabricius, Anna Søgaard Frandsen, Viktor Hjelmsø, Oscar Langer, Magnus Krepper, Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir, and Iselin Shumba Skjævesland.

In the plot summary of the film, we find that young climate researcher Elias develops feelings for an aspiring vocalist named Anita. Later, while on this assignment, he encounters a vision of what his life might have looked like had he made a different decision, and Elias becomes increasingly consumed by the idea of realizing the life that could have been his.
