81-year-old Bobby Sherman, famed for his ’60s and ’70s heartthrob status with hits like “Julie, Do Ya Love Me” and appearances on television series including Here Come the Brides, passed away.
Bobby Sherman passed away, as his wife, Brigitte Poublon, shared on Instagram, saying he departed this life with her by his side. His son Tyler Sherman subsequently confirmed the sad news, without disclosing the cause. Earlier in the year, it was revealed that Bobby had been battling Stage 4 cancer.

In the late ’70s, Sherman departed from his entertainment career and transitioned into an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). He provided CPR training for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and served as a reserve deputy with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. He assisted in the delivery of several babies and was honored as the LAPD Reserve Officer of the Year in 1999.
Bobby Sherman, along with his partner, established the Brigitte and Bobby Sherman Children’s Foundation in Ghana. This organization focuses on enhancing children’s education and healthcare. Tragically, he is survived by his wife, Brigitte, as well as their sons Christopher and Tyler, and several grandchildren.
1990s nostalgia concert featured Davy Jones and Peter Noone as a temporary comeback on stage.
