Witchboard is a modern reinterpretation of the 1986 cult film by Kevin Tenney. The movie is helmed by Chuck Russell, who collaborated with Greg McKay on the screenplay. As for its rating, it’s an R-rated flick that clocks in at approximately one hour and fifty-two minutes. The production is overseen by Sarah Buxton, John Paul Isham, Walter Josten, Yannick Sadler, and Eric Schiermeyer.

In New Orleans, Emily and her fiancé Christian are launching their long-awaited dream café. However, their hopes are shattered when Emily stumbles upon an old, cursed Ouija board, a relic that once functioned as a portal to the spirit realm. As Emily grows more enamored with the board’s power to summon spirits, Christian consults Alexander Babtiste, a mysterious occult expert. As Emily’s hold on sanity begins to slip, Babtiste’s true motives are revealed—to exploit the Witchboard’s dark energy for his own malicious ends.

The grand finale is a lavish masquerade at Babtiste’s manor, where the boundary between allure and fear becomes indistinct as Emily and Christian find themselves ensnared in a lethal tapestry of witchcraft and hidden yearnings. In order to outrun the clock, they must unravel the curse cast by the board before it overpowers them completely!
