How to get more stamina in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, your endurance gauge plays a crucial role. Activities like wading through rivers, scaling heights, or hauling your goods will deplete it. To avoid running out of energy in precarious situations and being vulnerable to monsters, here’s how you can replenish your stamina and even gain a bit more than you might be accustomed to.

How to get more stamina in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

As a fan, I often find myself with three energy reserves in my stamina gauge, leaving one depleted. To refill this, I simply seek out and consume three cans of chiral drink, which are typically located to the left of Sam’s bed within my personal quarters. Just hover your cursor over them for an option to examine the table, then partake of the food and beverage therein. This simple action will restore my energy reserves to full capacity, so I simply repeat this process whenever I return to my private room.

When out exploring, you might discover that you’ve used up quite a bit of energy and could use some refreshment. One option is to sip water from your canteen. To access it, press the right direction on your D-pad while in your equipment wheel, then navigate to the consumables section in the bottom right corner of the radial menu. Use L1 and R2 buttons to select the canteen and take a drink. Your canteen will naturally refill from rain or when crossing rivers.

You may keep the Square button pressed when moving around to make Sam take a seat. In this stationary position, you can massage your own shoulders or simply unwind, possibly dozing off. This action could restore some energy, especially if you’re low on water.
