In Death Stranding 2’s initial adventure on the shoreline, your objective is to transport a set of experimental MP ammunition to a research facility. As you traverse this journey, you’ll encounter BT entities that you must battle and eliminate, thus decreasing the chiral level in the surrounding region. It seems that blood bullets could prove quite beneficial for this task.

I’m sorry, but these items aren’t regular ammunition for your weapon. They are mission-specific items meant for other purposes. Instead, use the Blood Grenades you’ve been provided to eliminate the BTs. Once that’s done, proceed to the research lab and hand over the prototype MP blood bullets they require.

After completing this action, any bullet-type for MP weapons you choose will be preloaded, including ones found in the field. This feature is quite handy. From then on, you’ll be able to inflict damage on BTs using your MP weapons, simplifying things significantly.
