The first trailer for the upcoming comedy “Splitsville,” starring Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona, has been unveiled by Neon.
What happens in the Splitsville trailer?
The trailer unfolds the tale of Ashley (Arjona), who has recently requested a divorce from her spouse and turns to friends Julie (Johnson) and Paul (Michael Angelo Covino) for assistance. As they uncover the secret to their contentment lies in an open marriage, boundaries become blurred when Carey (Kyle Marvin) disrupts their connections, complicating matters further.

As a gamer, I’m sharing some insights about Splitsville, a movie I’ve had the pleasure of starring in, directed by the talented Covino. This film is a joint creation with Kyle Marvin, who, like me, also played a significant role in its scriptwriting.
Besides the two of us, this film boasts an impressive cast that includes Dakota Johnson, Adria Arjona, Nicholas Braun, David Castañeda, O-T Fagbenle, Charlie Gillespie, and others. Each of these actors brings their unique flair to make Splitsville a must-watch!
In the story, when Ashley decides to end their marriage, kind-hearted Carey seeks solace from friends Julie and Paul. They’ve found contentment in a non-traditional relationship – an open one – but that harmony is disrupted when Carey oversteps boundaries, causing turmoil in all their relationships.
The creative squad behind Splitsville consists of editor Sara Shaw and cinematographer Adam Newport-Berra, among others. This film is produced by Covino, Ro Donnelly, Ryan Heller, Jeff Deutchman, Emily Korteweg, Marvin, and Samantha Racanelli. Paul Barbeau and Adam Paulsen serve as executive producers in this project.
