Tubi has released a sneak peek at the trailer for the upcoming horror thriller titled “Please Don’t Feed the Children“, featuring Michelle Dockery, previously known from Downton Abbey. This production is by the budding director Destry Allyn Spielberg, who mirrors the path of her Academy Award-winning father, Steven Spielberg.
The movie is set in a future not too far off, where an all-adult-affecting virus poses a significant challenge. Following the devastating viral pandemic, a band of orphans embarks on a journey seeking a fresh start, but they are later captured by a woman who harbors a chilling secret.

What happens in the Please Don’t Feed the Children trailer?
The video showcases Dockery’s character as a menacing and disturbed woman who frightens a group of children once they enter her home. It underscores the harrowing experiences these children face while attempting to free themselves. Besides Dockery, the talented cast features Giancarlo Esposito (from Better Call Saul), Zoe Colletti (known for Only Murders In The Building), Andrew Liner (Ransom Canyon), Dean Scott Vazquez (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts), Regan Aliyah (Ironheart), Emma Meisel (Doogie Kameāloha, M.D.), and Vernon Davis (Chariot).
The film “Please Don’t Feed the Children” is helmed by director Destry Allyn Spielberg in his first feature-length directing role. This screenplay was penned by Paul Bertino. The production team for this project includes Jason Dubin, Josh Kesselman, Michael Hagerty, Daniel Ryniker, and Bill Kenwright. Additionally, Dockery, Phil Hunt Compton, Ross Daniel Negret, Will Clarke, Andy Mayson, Mike Runagall, David Gilbery, Naomi George, Ben Kaye, Steven Schneider, Joe Health, Owen King, Kimberly Atwood, and Atty Cleworth serve as executive producers.
As a devoted admirer looking back, I’d like to highlight that before stepping into the director’s chair for her first full-length film, Spielberg had previously dabbled in directing shorter pieces. Among these were ‘Rosie’ in 2019 and ‘Let Me Go the Right Way’ in 2022. Beyond her directorial ventures, she’s graced our screens as an actress in projects such as the HBO series ‘I Know This Much Is True’ from 2020 and Paul Thomas Anderson’s teenage drama ‘Licorice Pizza’, released around the same period.
