Alappuzha Gymkhana Ending Explained: Did Jojo manage to win his final bout and does Natasha fall in love with him?

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m thrilled to share that the captivating drama “Alappuzha Gymkhana,” featuring Naslen in the limelight, is now streaming on SonyLIV. Directed by the talented Khalid Rahman, this sports comedy was both a box office and critical sensation when it first premiered.

In this film, we follow the storyline centered around five companions: Jojo Johnson (played by Naslen), Shifas Ahmed, also known as Valuth, Shifas Ali known as Cheruth, David John, nicknamed DJ, and Shanavas.

The group of pals recently wrapped up their 12th-grade final exams, yet only Shanavas managed to pass. In a turn of events, Valuth gets into a scuffle after flirting with a prominent boxer’s girlfriend. Later on, Jojo realizes that the most straightforward route for him and his companions to gain college acceptance lies within the sports quota.

As a result, the whole group decides to take up boxing as their chosen sport and registers at the boxing school affiliated with Alappuzha Gymkhana, under the tutelage of coach Salim. Yet, Shanavas quickly loses enthusiasm for it and drops out, while DJ starts exploring wrestling instead.

Currently, Jojo, Valuth, and Cheruth are intensely training under the tutelage of Antony Joshua, who was once a pupil of coach Salim. Adopting this fresh regimen, these boxers have successfully qualified for the Kerala State Amateur Boxing Championship.

In the process of creating a fresh district team, three additional boxers – Deepak, Kiran, and Christopher – are added to their ranks. On the other hand, Jojo finds herself drawn to fellow boxer Natasha Pallathuruthu (Anagha Maya Ravi). Unfortunately for Jojo, Natasha does not reciprocate these feelings.

Spoiler Alert

Approaching the culmination, Jojo and his team make their way to the location hosting the state championship. Unfortunately, after indulging too much in food, Jojo finds himself shifted into a heavier weight division.

Initially, the team encounters several hurdles during the sequence of games, as both Christopher and Valuth lose their fights. However, Cheruth triumphs in his initial battle, radiating with newfound confidence. Subsequently, Jojo enters the ring, full of optimism, but unfortunately, he also loses his match.

In the course of the game, Deepak enters strong but ultimately gives up ground during play due to multiple threats being made against his teammates and loved ones.

As Deepak starts his game, he plays with determination, but he eventually loses due to intimidation tactics directed at his teammates and family members.

Due to Coach Antony’s outburst following the incident, the team was compelled to forfeit their participation in the tournament before Cheruth’s second match took place.

Yet, beyond the confines of the tournament, the players encountered an attack by a band of men. But they managed to protect themselves with the same boxing techniques that they used in competition.

With aspirations of participating in the tournament once more, the team gets back to practicing for the following year, with Jojo stepping into the role as team manager. Yet, Natasha confides that her affection lies with Deepak rather than Jojo, resulting in Jojo seeking resolution.
