Why are Peter Reckell’s Bo and Kristian Alfonso’s Hope leaving Days of Our Lives?
Bo and Hope have decided to leave Salem to begin a new life together in Days of Our Lives.
In a brief sneak peek, Days of Our Lives hinted at an emotional farewell for the beloved characters Bo and Hope. The teaser showed tender memories in the Horton House. Bo signaled their departure with, “Here’s to our fresh starts. Farewell, Salem.” To which Hope replied, “Until we meet again,” as they strolled off together.
Previously, Reckell acknowledged fan speculation about his potential return. He re-shared an old post on X (previously Twitter) from 2018 celebrating his debut anniversary and appended a new remark. In reference to a comeback, he expressed, “Many of you have encouraged me to rejoin DOOL. I’d be delighted to return; it’s up to the show to make space for me. Thank you so much for your ongoing support over the years – it truly means a great deal!” This implies that there remains a potential chance for his return.
In response to some of your inquiries, I’d be thrilled to return to DOOL! However, the show needs to create a space for me. I appreciate your ongoing support more than words can express, especially after so many years!
