Alfonso reminisced about Drake, who was simply fantastic as an actor. He cherished working alongside him because they made such a great team, and their work felt more like fun than a job. There were days that were harder than others, but Drake always brought a positive vibe to the set, which Alfonso described as an incredible human being.
Alfonso vividly recollected being “extremely devoted” to his wife Victoria, exclaiming, “Goodness gracious, I was absolutely, utterly in love with her.” She added, “I distinctly remember him returning for Christmas one year, around the ’80s, and saying, ‘I visited my former sweetheart’s door and plan to marry her.’ I was taken aback, asking, ‘Seriously? What’s her name?’ He replied, ‘Victoria,’ and shared the whole tale of their past relationship. I couldn’t help but think, ‘Oh, my gosh, that’s so romantic.’
