Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is getting a multiplayer mode called Fox Hunt

In August 2025, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is almost here, and this week, Konami unveiled some exciting new features for the game as they launched their summer game coverage. The remake of Snake Eater includes a brand-new multiplayer mode called Fox Hunt, where players will engage in a stealthy cat-and-mouse game by hiding from and hunting each other in a player versus player (PVP) competition.

Konami recently unveiled information about Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater’s Fox Hunt multiplayer mode during their Konami Press Start event this week. This unique online feature is set within the game’s storyline and offers players a stealthy, hide-and-seek style experience where they must blend in with their surroundings to evade detection. The objective is to outmaneuver opponents while navigating through treacherous maps, culminating in intense combat as players hunt each other down, all while trying to survive the game’s hazards.

Konami requests fans to avoid mistaking Fox Hunt for Metal Gear Online, as they share some similarities, but Metal Gear Online won’t be making a comeback temporarily because it doesn’t align with the present multiplayer gaming environment. However, the team behind Snake Eater is optimistic that Fox Hunt will offer an entertaining break from the main storyline and the reemergence of the Snake Vs Monkey mode.

Looking forward to the August 2025 launch of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater! Keep an eye out for additional information and exciting features such as the Fox Hunt multiplayer mode within the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater discussion.
