The Addams Family returns once more for another chilling chapter, as Netflix reveals the character posters for Wednesday Season 2. In these posters, you can see our familiar cast members along with the fresh faces who will be joining Nevermore Academy and the spooky town of Jericho.
Approximately three years after its initial release in 2022, Wednesday Season 2 is due to hit Netflix screens, starting with Part 1 on August 6, followed by Part 2 on September 3. This new season finds Wednesday Addams back at Nevermore Academy despite her previous hesitance.
Who is seen in the Wednesday Season 2 character posters?
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my enthusiasm for the character posters unveiling Jenna Ortega’s reprisal of Wednesday Addams. Alongside her, Emma Myers brings Enid Sinclair to life, our insightful roommate and companion. The upcoming season promises an exhilarating continuation of the story, delving into Wednesday’s emotional journey as she gradually opens up, all while probing the enigma surrounding the school. Her friendships with Enid and Eugene Ottinger (portrayed by Moosa Mostafa) serve as a reminder that beneath her tough exterior lies a heart that cares profoundly, even though it may not always show.
In the world of gaming, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about my favorite show’s upcoming season! Joy Sunday is back as Bianca Barclay, Isaac Ordonez steps into the role of Pugsley Addams, Wednesday’s younger brother. We’ve got Hunter Doohan joining the crew as Tyler Galpin, who was none other than Hyde in Season 1. Georgie Farmer will charm us as Ajax Petropolus, Enid’s romantic interest. Catherine Zeta-Jones returns to bring Morticia Addams to life, and Luis Guzmán takes on the role of Gomez Addams. Last but not least, Victor Dorobantu’s sentient severed hand, Thing, is making a comeback for Season 2! Can’t wait to see what adventures await us in this spooky yet captivating universe!
In addition to the fresh visuals, we now see Steven Buscemi portraying Principal Dort, a novel figure stepping into the role previously held by Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie), who is now the new leader at Nevermore Academy.
In Season 2, we’ll have Joanna Lumley playing the role of Grandmama Hester Frump, Joonas Suotamo portraying Lurch, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, Billie Piper taking on Isadora Capri, Christopher Lloyd in the part of Professor Orloff, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo starring as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago, Heather Matarazzo as Judi, and many more talented actors joining the cast.
All eight episodes of Wednesday Season 1 are available to stream on Netflix.
