A24 debuted the official trailer for Ari Aster’s upcoming contemporary Western, Eddington.

In May 2020, the movie features Joaquin Phoenix portraying the role of a sheriff and Pedro Pascal as the mayor of Eddington, New Mexico. A heated confrontation between these characters stirs up the town’s residents, leading to incidents that appear to be violent in nature.

I’m excited to be part of a stellar cast for the upcoming movie! Alongside Phoenix and Pascal, we’ve got Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward, Austin Butler, and Emma Stone. This film made its debut at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and is set to have its second screening in Sydney this June. Can’t wait to see it on the big screen!
