Amanda Seyfried has revealed that a sequel to “Jennifer’s Body” is in the works, but she will agree to rejoin the project under one specific term.
Back in 2009, Jennifer’s Body was released to a mix bag of reviews, but over time it’s grown into a cult classic. I’ve been one of its fans since I first saw it, and I played the role of Anita “Needy” Lesnicki, best friend to the title character, under the guidance of the talented Amy Seyfried. Even though we faced some initial skepticism, this movie has proven to be a timeless favorite among gamers like us.
What is the one condition for Amanda Seyfried to return for Jennifer’s Body 2?
In Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series, Seyfried had a conversation with Adam Brody about their respective careers, current projects, and their past collaboration in Jennifer’s Body, which they filmed under Karyn Kusama’s direction. They previously worked together, and later reunited for the 2013 biographical drama Lovelace.
Although Jennifer’s Body 2’s specifics remain undisclosed, Seyfried affirmed that a follow-up is being planned. Moreover, she made it clear that she would only participate in the sequel if her fellow actress, Megan Fox, was also involved.

Seyfried then revealed, “So did Megan Fox, and I’m not doing it without her.”
Despite Seyfried’s confirmation of a sequel, details about whether main characters will reappear remain unknown. In the original film, Low Shoulder traded Jennifer for fame, transforming her into a cannibalistic demon who reveled in male killings. Eventually, Needy took revenge on the band by eliminating them, as they were responsible for Jennifer’s transformation and the subsequent deaths.
Previously, Diablo Cody expressed her willingness to work on a sequel for the movie, telling BloodyDisgusting that she feels there’s still more story to tell about Jennifer’s Body. The film features Johnny Simmons playing Chip Dove, J. K. Simmons portraying Mr. Wroblewski, Kyle Gallner in the role of Colin Gray, and many others.
