Earlier this year, Ajith Kumar and director Adhik Ravichandran created quite an impact with their movie “Good Bad Ugly”. It looks like they are planning to work together again in the near future.
According to a report from Aakashavaani, the renowned actor-director duo are set to collaborate again on an upcoming project. Notably, this movie is scheduled to be financed by Mythri Movie Makers, marking their second Tamil production following GBU.
Although it’s believed an official announcement about Ajith Kumar’s 64th film is imminent, as of now, he has not yet revealed details. The actor has previously mentioned that he would only take on a new project during the off-season of his racing activities, which is expected to be in the second half of 2025.
Previously, there were rumors about several directors such as Karthik Subbaraj, Prashanth Neel, Venkat Prabhu, and even Dhanush potentially working with AK. But it appears that the upcoming film AK64 is likely to be directed by Adhik.
Discussing the racing career of Ajith, it’s worth noting that he has recently established his own team, Ajith Kumar Racing. In this dual role as team owner and driver, they have achieved numerous awards following their impressive showings in Dubai and various European circuits.
In terms of Ajith’s film career, he recently appeared in the action-drama film titled “Good Bad Ugly.” This movie, helmed by director Adhik Ravichandran, narrates the story of AK, a once notorious crime boss who goes by the nickname Red Dragon.
Following the arrival of his child, the criminal decides to make amends for his life of crime by serving an 18-year prison term. Upon being released, he discovers that his son has been falsely accused of a crime he did not commit.
Currently, AK needs to revert to his previous methods to identify who attacked his son and exonerate himself permanently.
In addition to the actor from Vidaamuyarchi, GBU featured Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Sunil, Prabhu, Prasanna, Karthikeya Dev, Priya Prakash Varrier, Jackie Shroff, Shine Tom Chacko, and numerous others in significant roles.
