PS Plus June 2025 Extra and Premium games reveal date

The date when Sony will unveil the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for June 2025 is set for June 11th. They typically announce these titles a week after the release of the Essential games, which in this case was on June 3rd. So, get ready for the announcement coming up!

Once the curtains are drawn back, the games will be unveiled for play on June 17th. Regarding the key elements of the July 2025 event, they are anticipated to be revealed on June 25th and launched on July 1st.

After the stage is set, the games will commence on June 17th. As for the essentials of the July 2025 event, they will be disclosed on June 25th and rolled out on July 1st.

Four must-play games are currently available but will end in July: NBA 2K25, the outstanding Alone in the Dark remake, Bomb Rush Cyberpunk, and Destiny 2: The Last Shape. It’s crucial to mention that The Last Shape is exclusive to those who already own Destiny 2.

New Extra games confirmed

On June 17th, only one new addition has been confirmed: the launch of FBC Firebreak, a humorous cooperative shooter from Remedy Entertainment that takes place within the Control universe. Earlier this year, we were given an early look at the game and found it entertaining with great prospects for future updates.

On the topic of exciting day-one additions, I’m thrilled to share that “Sword of the Sea” is set to debut on August 19th, gracing our Extra library! The team behind the captivating masterpiece “Journey” is responsible for this gem, and as a fan, I can’t help but be awestruck by its stunning visuals.

New Premium classics confirmed

For those with a Premium subscription, they’ll get to enjoy Deus Ex on June 17th. This isn’t the original PS1 version, but rather the PS2 adaptation of this beloved classic. If you don’t have a Premium subscription, you should be able to purchase Deus Ex from the PSN store, just like other PS2 classics such as Tomb Raider Legend.

During State of Play, it was exciting to see Deus Ex added, but even more classics were announced for release. Among them are Twisted Metal 3 and 4, set to arrive on July 15th. Additionally, we can anticipate the original PS1 versions of Resident Evil 2 and 3 coming later this summer, which seems to suggest around August.
