Next month, the movie titled Superman, produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, will be hitting theaters. This DC Universe film is helmed by director James Gunn, with David Corenswet donning the role of the Man of Steel, Rachel Brosnahan portraying Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult starring as Lex Luthor.

The first film from DC Studios featuring Superman is set to fly into cinemas globally this summer, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. According to the official summary, director James Gunn reinvents the classic superhero within a fresh take on the DC universe. By combining grand action scenes, humor, and emotional depth, Gunn brings us a Superman who’s motivated by empathy and a strong faith in human kindness.
Apart from Corenswet, Brosnahan, and Hoult, the movie’s cast also features Edi Gathegi portraying Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan taking on the role of Rex Mason/Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced starring as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell as Jonathan and Martha Kent respectively, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/The Engineer, and Alan Tudyk providing the voice for Superman Robot #4.
In American movie theaters and IMAX screens, you’ll be able to watch Superman on July 11, 2025. After that, the DCU series continues with Peacemaker Season 2 in August. Later, Craig Gillespie’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is scheduled for June 2026.
