Terror Touches Down on ‘Alien: Earth’ Official Trailer

Prepare yourself for a fresh wave of dread, as the Xenomorph makes its long-awaited arrival on Earth! The much-hyped official trailer for Alien: Homeworld, the thrilling new sci-fi horror series, has been unveiled by FX. This groundbreaking show will be the first to introduce the legendary franchise’s chilling creatures onto our very own planet.

In the year 2120, two years before the storyline of the first Alien film, a prequel series is set. This captivating show was developed by Emmy-winning creator Noah Hawley and executive produced by Ridley Scott. The narrative unfolds when the enigmatic deep space research vessel, USCSS Maginot, tragically crash-lands on our planet. This event triggers the emergence of strange, predatory organisms, including the notorious Xenomorph, onto a world struggling with a period known as the “Corporate Era,” where five immense corporations hold sway, and the development of sophisticated synthetics and hybrid entities is on the rise.

In the trailer, Sydney Chandler plays Wendy, an innovative character created by Prodigy Corporation – a humanoid robot imbued with human consciousness and the first prototype. This unique being confronts humanity’s most dangerous enemy. The scenes are filled with suspenseful images, suggesting confined spaces aboard a spaceship, tense interactions with various extraterrestrial beings (one ominously mentioning that the ship has gathered five distinct life forms from the darkest parts of the cosmos, with one being predatory, hinting at potential appearances by creatures like the Predator), and the nerve-wracking revelation that a “perfect organism” has landed on Earth. In addition to Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, and Samuel Blenkin, other cast members are featured. This is the first time Scott’s franchise steps onto small screens under the title Alien: Earth.

On August 12, 2025, at 8 PM, the series titled “Alien: Earth” will make its debut on FX, with fresh installments airing every week afterward. In the United States, you’ll be able to stream it on Hulu, while viewers internationally can enjoy it on Disney+.
