roadside Attractions and Lionsgate have unveiled their initial sneak peek, or teaser, for the anticipated musical adaptation titled “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” featuring Jennifer Lopez in the lead role.

The latest preview showcases an upcoming film adaptation of the stage musical titled “by Terrence McNally, John Kander, and Fred Ebb.” This narrative revolves around two inmates within a penitentiary setting. One character shares his preferred musical with the other as they pass the time.

The play you’re referring to is based on a 1976 novel by Manuel Puig, which had already been made into a 1985 Brazilian film featuring William Hurt as the main character.
