The Raja Saab: Has Prabhas cut down his fees from Rs 150 crore for horror comedy after Adipurush’s debacle?

At present, Prabhas is quite busy due to the number of upcoming films he has in store. Known as The Rebel Star, he recently made news as the launch date for his eagerly awaited romantic comedy horror film, The Raja Saab, was disclosed. Following a brief postponement, this rom-com is now set to premiere on December 5.

Did Prabhas reduce his fees for The Raja Saab?

Based on a report from Siasat, it seems Rebel Star has reportedly lowered his fees for the Maruthi movie by 50 crores rupees. This move might be due to the less-than-expected reception of his film Adipurush, which was also produced by People Media Factory.

Regarding the upcoming project, it’s noteworthy that Prabhas, typically commanding a fee of 150 crores per film, has agreed to accept 100 crores instead.

The Raja Saab was postponed from April 2025

To those unfamiliar, the movie titled “The Raja Saab” was originally planned to premiere on April 10th. However, due to some unfinished visual effects work during the post-production phase, the release had to be pushed back.

And now, after 8 months, the movie is back on track for a December 2025 theatrical release.

What is the storyline of The Raja Saab?

For the very first time, Prabhas is stepping into the realm of horror-comedy films with this project. Just from the initial sneak peeks and promotional materials, it’s clear he’s venturing far outside his comfort zone to bring such an endearing character to life.

In the movie, “The Raja Saab,” the plot revolves around a character’s persistent desire for an inherited estate, which he intends to transform into a lucrative venture.

As he moves forward with his scheme, it turns out that the location conceals surprising truths; these revelations suggest that there’s far more to it than initially perceived.

Prabhas’ upcoming projects

As a devoted admirer, I’m eager to share that apart from The Raja Saab, there’s another intriguing project on the actor’s horizon – a film called “PrabhasHanu”. According to reports, this movie goes by the title “Fauji” as well.

From my enthusiastic perspective, I can’t help but share my excitement about two fascinating projects that are on the horizon! Firstly, there’s the highly debated film Spirit, masterfully directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Moreover, adding fuel to my fandom, I can’t wait to catch a glimpse of him in an extended and special cameo role within Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa!

Additionally, it’s reported that sequels for both Salaar 2 and Kalki 2 are being planned after the Rebel Star completes his current commitments.
